404 — Al-Firyābī also informed us, saying: Muhammad ibn Abd al-Malik narrated to us, saying: Abū Awāna narrated to us, from Abū Bishr, from Saīd ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbās, that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was asked about the children of the polytheists. He replied, “Allah knew best, when He created them, what they would have done.”
