393 – Abū Jafar Ahmad ibn Yahyā al-Hulwānī narrated to us: Suwayd ibn Saīd narrated to us: Shihāb ibn Khirāsh narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ziyād, from Abū Hurayra, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Allah Most High never sent a prophet before me whose nation rallied around him without there being among them Murji'ites and Qadarites, who would throw the affairs of his nation into confusion after him. Indeed, Allah Most High cursed the Murji'ites and the Qadarites through seventy prophets, and I am the last of them.”
