367 — Abū Bakr ʿAbd Allah ibn Ziyād al-Naysābūrī narrated to us, saying: Yūnus ibn ʿAbd al-Aʿlā narrated to us in The Book of Divine Decree, saying: ʿAbd Allah ibn Wahb narrated to us, saying: Saʿīd ibn ʿAbd al-Rahmān informed me, from Abū Hāzim, from Sahl ibn Saʿd al-Sāʿidī, that the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said:
“A man may indeed perform the deeds of the people of Paradise, as it appears to people, while he is among the people of the Fire. And a man may indeed perform the deeds of the people of the Fire, as it appears to people, while he is among the people of Paradise.”
٣٦٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ قَالَ: نَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى فِي كِتَابِ الْقَدَرِ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ: «إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلَ عَمَلَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، فِيمَا يَبْدُو لِلنَّاسِ، وَإِنَّهُ لِمَنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلَ عَمَلَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ، فِيمَا يَبْدُو لِلنَّاسِ، وَإِنَّهُ لِمَنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ»
