341 — Al-Firyābī informed us, saying: Abd al-Rahmān ibn Ibrāhīm al-Dimashqī narrated to us, saying: Abd Allah ibn Wahb narrated to us, saying: Abū Hāniʾ narrated to us, from Abū Abd al-Rahmān al-Hubulī—Abd Allah ibn Yazīd—from Abd Allah ibn Amr, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: “Allah Most High had finished ordaining the decrees of creation fifty thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth, and His Throne was upon the water.”
