336 – Al-Firyābī also informed us, saying: Ishāq ibn Rāhawayh narrated to us, saying: Ismāīl ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to us, saying: Yazīd al-Rishk narrated to us, from Mutarrif ibn Abd Allah ibn al-Shikhkhīr, from Imrān ibn Husayn, who reported that a man asked, “O Messenger of Allah, are the people of Paradise already known from the people of the Fire?” He replied, “Yes.” The man asked, “Then what purpose is there in people’s deeds?” He replied, “Perform deeds, for everyone is facilitated”—or words to that effect.
