332 – And al-Firyābī informed us, saying: Abd al-Alā ibn Hammād narrated to us, saying: Rawh ibn al-Musayyib, Abū Rajā al-Kalbī, narrated to us, saying: I heard Yazīd al-Raqāshī say ⦗752⦘: I heard Ghunaym ibn Qays say: Abū Mūsā used to teach us the Quran in this mosque while standing, teaching us one verse at a time. Abū Mūsā then said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “On the day Allah Most High created Adam (peace be upon him), He took two handfuls from his loins. He raised every good person with His right hand and every wicked person with His left. He then said, ‘These are the people of the Right, and I do not mind; these are the people of Paradise. And these are the people of the Left, and I do not mind; these are the people of the Fire.’ He then returned them to Adam’s loins, and they have continued to reproduce accordingly until now.”
