331 – Al-Firyābī informed us, saying: Muhammad ibn Musaffā narrated to us, saying: Baqiyya ibn al-Walīd narrated to us, saying: Mubashshir ibn Ubayd narrated to me, from al-Zuhrī, from Saīd ibn ⦗751⦘ al-Musayyib, from Abū Hurayra, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “When Allah created Adam (peace be upon him), He struck Adam’s right side with His hand and brought forth from it descendants like tiny ants. He then said, ‘O Adam, these are your descendants who are among the people of Paradise.’ Then He struck Adam’s left side with His hand and brought forth from it descendants like tiny ants. He then said, ‘These are your descendants who are among the people of the Fire.’”
