316 — Al-Firyābī informed us, saying: Muhammad ibn Ismāīl narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Azīz ibn Abd Allah al-Uwaysī narrated to us, saying: Mālik ibn Anas said: “How profoundly misguided are those who deny the divine decree! If there were no proof against them concerning it other than the words of Allah Most High, ‘He is the One who created you; some of you are disbelievers and some of you are believers’ [al-Taghābun: 2], that alone would suffice as proof.”
