34 — Abū al-Qāsim Abd Allāh ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Azīz al-Baghawī informed us. He said: Ali ibn al-Jad narrated to us. He said: Abd al-Hamīd ibn Bahrām informed us. He said: Shahr—that is, Ibn Hawshab—narrated to us. He said: Abd al-Rahmān ibn Ghanm narrated to us that Shaddād ibn Aws narrated to him, from the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—who said, “The worst of this nation will surely follow the ways of those who passed before them, matching them as one arrow-feather matches another.”
