He said:

311 — Abū Bakr Jaʿfar ibn Muhammad al-Firyābī informed us, saying: Muhammad ibn ⦗714⦘ Abī Bakr al-Muqaddamī narrated to us, saying: Hammād ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Khālid al-Hadhdhāʾ, from al-Hasan, concerning the words of Allah Most High: “You cannot tempt anyone away from Him except one who is destined to enter the Blazing Fire.” [al-Sāffāt: 163] He said: “Through their misguidance, the devils lead astray only those for whom Allah Most High has decreed entry into the Blazing Fire.”
