guides whomever He wills, and He knows best who are guided.”
He, Glorious and Exalted, says in Sūrat al-Rūm:
“Rather, the wrongdoers follow their desires without knowledge. Who, then, can guide those Allah has led astray? They will have no helpers.” [al-Rūm: 29]
Allah, Glorious and Exalted, says in Sūrat al-Sajdah:
“Had We willed, We could have given every soul its guidance. But My Word has come to pass: ‘I will surely fill Hell with jinn and humans all together.’” [al-Sajdah: 13]
He, Glorious and Exalted, says in Sūrat al-Malāʾikah:
“What of one whose evil deed has been made alluring to him so that he regards it as good? Indeed, Allah leads astray whomever He wills and guides whomever He wills. So do not let your soul waste away in sorrow over them. Allah certainly knows all that they do.” [Fātir: 8]
He, Glorious and Exalted, says in Sūrat al-Zumar:
“So give glad tidings to My servants who listen to what is said and follow the best of it. Those are the ones Allah has guided, and those are the people of understanding.”
The Most High also says in this surah:
“Allah has sent down the finest discourse: a Book whose parts resemble one another and whose lessons are repeated. The skins of those who fear their Lord shiver at it; then their skins and hearts soften at the remembrance of Allah. That is Allah’s guidance, by which He guides whomever He wills. Whoever Allah leads astray will have no guide.” [al-Zumar
