CHAPTER: AN ACCOUNT OF ALLAH MOST HIGH’S DECLARATION THAT HE SEALS THE HEARTS OF WHOMEVER HE WILLS AMONG HIS SERVANTS, SO THEY ARE NOT GUIDED TO THE TRUTH, NOR DO THEY HEAR OR SEE IT, BECAUSE HE ABHORS THEM AND THEIR HEARTS HAVE THUS BEEN SEALED
Allah Most High says in Sūrat al-Baqarah:
“Indeed, those who disbelieve—it is all the same to them whether you warn them or do not warn them—they will not believe. Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing, and over their eyes is a veil. For them is a tremendous punishment.” [al-Baqarah: 7]
Allah Most High says in Sūrat al-Nisā’:
“Because they broke their covenant, disbelieved in Allah’s signs, killed the prophets without right, and said, ‘Our hearts are encased.’ Rather, Allah has sealed them because of their disbelief, and so they believe but little.” [al-Nisā’: 155]
Allah Most High says in Sūrat al-Mā’idah:
“Whomever Allah wills to subject to trial, you can do nothing for him against Allah. Those are the ones whose hearts Allah does not will to purify. For them is disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter they will have a tremendous punishment.” [al-Mā’idah
