308 — Ahmad ibn Yahyā al-Hulwānī narrated to us, saying: Suwayd ibn Sa‘īd narrated to us, saying: Shihāb ibn Khirāsh narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ziyād, from Abū Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:

“Allah never sent a prophet before me whose entire community rallied around him without there being among them Murji’ah and Qadariyyah who disrupted the affairs of his community after him. Indeed, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, cursed the Murji’ah and the Qadariyyah ⦗691⦘ through the words of seventy prophets, and I am the last of them—or one of them.”
