298 — Ibn Abd al-Hamīd narrated to us: Yūsuf ibn Mūsā al-Qattān narrated to us: al-Dahhāk ibn Makhlad narrated to us, from al-Awzāʿī, from Yahyā ibn Abī Amr al-Saybānī, who said: Hudhayfa—may Allah Most High be pleased with him—said: “I know the adherents of two creeds whose followers will be in the Fire: a people who say, ‘Faith is mere words, even if one commits adultery and murder,’ and a people who say, ‘Our forebears were misguided. Why should there be five prayers? There are only two: “Establish prayer from the sun’s decline until the darkness of night” [al-Isrā’: 78].’”
٢٩٨ - حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَطَّانُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو السَّيْبَانِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ قَالَ: " إِنِّي لَأَعْرِفُ أَهْلَ دِينَيْنٍ، أَهْلُ ذَلِكَ الدِّينَيْنِ فِي النَّارِ، قَوْمٌ يَقُولُونَ الْإِيمَانُ: كَلَامٌ وَإِنْ زَنَى وَقَتَلَ، وَقَوْمٌ يَقُولُونَ: إِنْ أُولِينَا الضُّلَّالَ مَا بَالُ خَمْسِ صَلَوَاتٍ، وَإِنَّمَا هُمَا صَلَاتَانِ: ﴿أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِدُلُوكِ الشَّمْسِ إِلَى غَسَقِ اللَّيْلِ﴾ [الإسراء: ٧٨] "
