296 — Ishāq ibn Abī Hassān al-Anmātī narrated to us: Hishām ibn Ammār al-Dimashqī narrated to us: Shihāb ibn Khirāsh narrated to us, from Abū Hamza al-Thumālī al-Awar, who said: I asked Ibrāhīm, “What is your view of the doctrine of the Murji'a?” He replied, “Alas! They have cobbled together a doctrine. I fear for the Muslim community on their account, and there is much evil in their affair. So beware of them.”
