292 — Abū Nasr also narrated to us, saying: Abū Bakr narrated to us, saying: Abū Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Abū Muāwiya narrated to us, saying: al-Amash narrated to us, from Ibrāhīm, from Alqama: A man from the Kharijites spoke in his presence and said something he disliked, so Alqama ⦗672⦘ said, “Those who harm believing men and believing women for something they have not done have burdened themselves with slander and manifest sin” [al-Ahzāb: 58]. The Kharijite asked him, “Are you one of them?” He replied, “I hope so.”
