Through the same chain of transmission: Ahmad narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Rahmān ibn Mahdī narrated to us, saying: Hammād ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Yahyā ibn Atīq and Habīb ibn al-Shahīd, from ⦗670⦘ Muhammad ibn Sīrīn, who said, “If you are asked, ‘Are you a believer?’ say: ‘We believe in Allah and in what was sent down to us, and in what was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, and Isaac.’”
