30 — Abū Bakr ibn Abī Dāwūd narrated to us. He said: Muhammad ibn Bashshār narrated to us. He said: Mu‘ādh narrated to us. He said: Ibn ‘Awn narrated to us, from Muhammad—meaning Ibn Sīrīn—who said: They used to say, “If a man adheres to the transmitted tradition, he is upon the path.”
