275 — Jafar ibn Muhammad al-Sandalī narrated to us: al-Fadl ibn Ziyād ⦗652⦘ narrated to us: Ahmad ibn Hanbal narrated to me: Abd Allah ibn Yazīd al-Muqri, Abū Abd al-Rahmān, narrated to us: Saīd ibn Abī Ayyūb narrated to me: Kab ibn Alqama narrated to me, from Īsā ibn Hilāl al-Sadafī, from Abd Allah ibn Amr, who reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke one day about prayer and said:

“Whoever faithfully maintains it will have it as a light, a proof, and an illumination—or, he said, a deliverance—on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever does not faithfully maintain it will have neither light, proof, nor illumination—or, he said, deliverance—and on the Day of Resurrection he will come in the company of Korah, Pharaoh, Haman, and Ubayy ibn Khalaf.”

276 — Ahmad narrated to us: Muhammad narrated to us: Abū ⦗653⦘ Abd Allah Jafar ibn Idrīs al-Qazwīnī narrated to us: Yahyā ibn Abdak al-Qazwīnī narrated to us: Abd Allah ibn Yazīd al-Muqri narrated to us, and he related the same hadith, with its chain of transmission, through to its conclusion.
