268 — Abū al-Fadl Jaʿfar ibn Muhammad al-Sandalī narrated to us: al-Fadl ibn Ziyād narrated to us: Ahmad ibn Hanbal narrated to us: Zayd ibn al-Hubāb narrated to us: Husayn ibn Wāqid narrated to me: Abd Allah ibn Burayda narrated to me, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said, “What separates us from them is the abandonment of prayer; whoever abandons it has disbelieved.”
