256 — Abu al-Abbās Ahmad ibn Īsā ibn al-Sukayn al-Baladī ⦗637⦘ narrated to us, saying: Alī ibn Harb al-Mawsilī narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Salām ibn Sālih al-Khurāsānī narrated to us, saying: Alī ibn Mūsā al-Ridā narrated to me, from his father, from Jafar ibn Muhammad, from his father, from Alī ibn al-Husayn, from his father, from Alī ibn Abī Tālib (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Faith is profession with the tongue, deeds performed by the limbs, and certainty in the heart.”
