21—Abū Muhammad ʿAbd Allāh ibn Sālih al-Bukhārī reported to us: ʿAbdah ibn ʿAbd al-Rahīm al-Marwazī narrated to us: al-Nadr ibn Shumayl narrated to us: ⦗306⦘ Muhammad ibn ʿAmr narrated to us, from Abū Salamah, from Abū Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “The Jews and Christians split into seventy-one or seventy-two sects, and my nation will split into seventy-three sects.”
