204 — Abū Jafar Muhammad ibn al-Husayn al-Ushnānī al-Kūfī also narrated to us, saying ⦗567⦘: Muhammad ibn Alī al-Shaqīqī narrated to us, saying: I heard my father say: Abū Hamzah narrated to us, from Jābir, from Āmir, from Jarīr ibn Abd Allah, who said: I heard the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—say: “Islam is built upon five: testifying that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; establishing the prayer; giving zakat; performing pilgrimage to the House; and fasting Ramadan.”
