2059 — Al-Firyābī also narrated to us, saying: ‘Uthmān ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to us, saying: Abū Usāmah narrated to us, saying: Mahdī ibn Maymūn narrated to us, saying: Yūnus ibn ‘Ubayd said, “A person to whom the Sunnah is presented and who accepts it is indeed rare, and rarer still is one who upholds it.”
