2057 — Al-Firyābī also narrated to us, saying: Ya‘qūb ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to us, saying: Sa‘īd ibn Āmir narrated to us, saying: Sallām ibn Abī Mutī narrated to us, saying: Ayūb used to call the adherents of religious innovations Khārijites, and he would say, “The Khārijites differ in name but are united in taking up the sword.”
