2055 — Al-Firyābī also narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Ala ibn Hammād narrated to us, saying: Wuhayb narrated to us, saying: Ayyūb narrated to us, from Abu Qilābah, who said, “No man ever introduces a religious innovation without deeming resort to the sword lawful.”
