Ibn Abd al-Hamīd also narrated to us, saying: Jafar ibn Muhammad narrated to us, saying: Abū Saīd al-Ashajj narrated to us, saying: I heard Hafs ibn Ghiyāth say: I heard Jafar ibn Muhammad say, “We, the Household, hold that if a man divorces his wife three times, it counts as three divorces.”
