Ibn Abd al-Hamīd narrated to us, saying: Abū Mūsā al-Zaman narrated to us, saying: Abū Dāwud—that is, al-Tayālisī—narrated to us, saying: Zuhayr narrated to me, from Abū Ishāq, from Amr ⦗2523⦘ ibn al-Asamm, who said: I said to al-Hasan ibn Alī—may Allah be pleased with them both—“The Shi'a claim that Alī will be resurrected before the Day of Resurrection.” He replied, “By Allah, they lie! These people are no Shi'a. If Alī—may Allah be pleased with him—were to be resurrected, we would not have given his wives in marriage or divided his estate.”
