We have already discussed the position of Alī ibn Abī Tālib—may Allah be pleased with him—concerning Abū Bakr, Umar, Uthmān, and the other Companions—may Allah be pleased with them—as well as the reports from the Prophet—peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—concerning their virtues; what has been related of the merits of Abū Bakr and Umar—may Allah be pleased with him—at the time of his death; what has been related of Umar’s merits at the time of his death; and his profound grief over Uthmān’s murder, together with his declaration before Allah—Mighty and Majestic—of his innocence of that killing.

Likewise, his children and his pure descendants denounce the Rāfida for their corrupt doctrines, disavow them, and enjoin love for Abū Bakr, Umar, Uthmān, and all the other Companions—may Allah be pleased with them. For the Rāfida attend neither Friday prayer nor congregational prayer, malign the early generations of Muslims, and their marriages are not like the marriages of Muslims, nor are their divorces like the divorces of Muslims.

They fall into many groups. Some say that Alī ibn Abī Tālib—may Allah be pleased with him—is a god. Others say that Alī had a greater right to prophethood than Muhammad and that Gabriel erred concerning the revelation. Others say that he was a prophet after the Prophet—peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. Some revile Abū Bakr and Umar, declare all the Companions disbelievers, and say, “They are in the Fire, except for six.” Some advocate taking up the sword against Muslims; if they cannot do so, they strangle them to death.

Allah, the Most Generous, has held the Household of the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—far above their filthy doctrines, which bear no resemblance to those of the Muslims.
