Chapter: Reports Concerning the Rāfida and the Corruptness of Their Doctrine

Muhammad ibn al-Husayn—may Allah have mercy on him—said:

The first point with which we begin our discussion in this chapter is that we hold Alī ibn Abī Tālib—may Allah honor his countenance—Fātima—may Allah be pleased with her—al-Hasan and al-Husayn—may Allah be pleased with them both—Aqīl ibn Abī Tālib—may Allah be pleased with him—their children, the children of Jafar al-Tayyār—may Allah be pleased with them—and their pure and blessed progeny far above the doctrines of the Rāfida, who have been led astray from the path of right guidance.

The household of the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—are too lofty in rank, too sound in judgment, and too knowledgeable of Allah—Mighty and Majestic—and His Messenger—peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—for the conduct falsely attributed to them by the Rāfida: reviling Abū Bakr, Umar, Uthmān, Talha, al-Zubayr, and Āisha—may Allah be pleased with them.

Allah, the Most Generous, has preserved Alī ibn Abī Tālib—may Allah be pleased with him—and those whom we have mentioned from among his pure and blessed progeny from what the Rāfida falsely attribute to them. This is established by the proofs and evidence already presented: they—may Allah be pleased with them—spoke of Abū Bakr, Umar, Uthmān, Talha, al-Zubayr, Āisha, and all the other Companions only in the finest terms. Indeed, in our view they are all “brothers, seated upon couches facing one another” in Paradise, Allah, the Most Generous, having removed all rancor from their hearts, as Allah—Mighty and Majestic—said:

“And We will remove whatever rancor is in their breasts; they will be brothers, seated upon couches facing one another.” [al-Hijr: 47]

May Allah be pleased with them.
