1997 — Abū Bakr ʿAbd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Hamīd al-Wāsitī narrated to us, saying: ʿAbd al-Wahhāb al-Warrāq narrated to us, saying: Abū Muʿāwiya narrated to us, from al-Aʿmash, from Abū Sālih, from Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī, who said: The Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—said: “Do not revile my Companions. By Him in whose hand is my soul, even if one of you were to spend gold equal to Mount Uhud, he would not attain the measure of a mudd given by one of them, nor even half of it.”
