1996 — Abū Shuʿayb ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Hasan al-Harrānī narrated to us, saying: ʿAlī ⦗2504⦘ ibn al-Jaʿd narrated to us, saying: Shuʿba and Abū Muʿāwiya informed us, from al-Aʿmash, from Dhakwān, from Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī, from the Prophet—peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—who said: “Do not revile my Companions. By Him in whose hand is my soul, even if one of you were to spend gold equal to Mount Uhud, he would not attain the measure of a mudd given by one of them, nor even half of it.”
