1993 — Abū al-ʿAbbās Sahl ibn Abī Sahl al-Wāsitī narrated to us, saying: ʿUmar ibn Sālih ibn Ziyād, known as Ibn Khayra, narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn al-Fadl ibn ʿAtiyya al-Khurāsānī narrated to us, from his father, from ʿAmr ibn Dīnār, from Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh, who said: The Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—said: “The people will grow numerous while my Companions grow few. So do not revile my Companions. May Allah curse whoever reviles them.”
