1989 — Khalaf ibn ʿAmr al-ʿUkbarī informed us, saying: Al-Humaydī ʿAbd Allāh ⦗2499⦘ ibn al-Zubayr narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Talha narrated to us, saying: ʿAbd al-Rahmān ibn Sālim ibn ʿAbd al-Rahmān ibn ʿUwaym ibn Sāʿida narrated to us, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—said: “Allah—Mighty and Majestic—chose me and chose Companions for me, appointing from among them ministers, supporters, and relatives by marriage. Whoever reviles them shall incur the curse of Allah, the angels, and all humanity. On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will accept from him neither an obligatory nor a voluntary deed.”
