1986 — Abū Bakr ʿAbd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Hamīd al-Wāsitī narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Rizq Allah al-Kalwadhānī narrated to us, saying: Khalaf ibn Tamīm narrated to us, saying ⦗2497⦘: ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Sarī narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir narrated to us, from Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allah, who said: The Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—said:

“When the latter generations of this nation curse its earliest generations, let whoever possesses knowledge make it known; for one who conceals knowledge on that day is like one who conceals what Allah revealed to Muhammad—peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.”
