1976 — Abū al-Qāsim Abd Allāh ibn Muhammad al-Baghawī narrated to us, saying: Dāwūd ibn Amr narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Jabbār ibn al-Ward narrated to us, from Ibn Abī Mulayka, who said: Talha—may Allah be pleased with him—said, “Shall I not relate to you something from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? Indeed, I heard him say: ‘Amr ibn al-Ās is among the righteous men of Quraysh.’”
