1936 — Ibn Nājiya informed us, saying: Yūsuf ibn Mūsā al-Qattān narrated to us, saying: Abū Ghassān Mālik ibn Ismāīl narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Rahmān ibn Humayd ibn Abd al-Rahmān al-Ruāsī narrated to us, from al-Amash, from Amr ibn Murra, from Abd Allah ⦗2453⦘ ibn al-Hārith, from Abd Allah ibn Mālik al-Zubaydī, from Abd Allah ibn Amr, who said: “Muāwiya—may Allah be pleased with him—served as a scribe for the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace.”
١٩٣٦ - وَأَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ نَاجِيَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَطَّانُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرُّؤَاسِيُّ , عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ , عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ⦗٢٤٥٣⦘ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: كَانَ مُعَاوِيَةُ ﵀ كَاتِبًا لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
