1925 — Ibn Nājiya informed us, saying: Ahmad ibn Ibrāhīm and al-Hasan ibn Ishāq narrated to us. They said: Abd al-Azīz ibn Bahr narrated to us, saying: Ismāīl ibn Ayyāsh narrated to us, from Abd al-Rahmān ibn Abd Allah ibn Dīnār, from his father, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said to Muāwiya, “O Muāwiya, you are of me and I am of you. You will surely press close beside me at the gate of Paradise like these two.” He then gestured with his middle finger and the finger next to it.
