1920 — Ibn Nājiya also informed us, saying: Abū Umayya Muhammad ibn Ibrāhīm al-Miqsamī narrated to us, saying: Wahshī ibn Ishāq ibn Wahshī ibn Harb ibn Wahshī ibn Harb narrated to us, saying: My father, Ishāq ibn Wahshī, narrated to me, from his father Wahshī, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: Muawiya, may Allah be pleased with him, was riding behind the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, asked him, “What part of you is touching me?” He replied, “My abdomen and my chest.” He said, “May Allah fill them both with knowledge and forbearance.”
