1918 — Abū Muhammad Abd Allah ibn Nājiya informed us, saying: Ahmad ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to us, saying: Sulaymān ibn Harb narrated to us.

1919 — Ibn Nājiya said: Yūsuf ibn Mūsā al-Qattān also narrated to us, saying: al-Hasan ibn al-Ashyab narrated to us. Both said: Abū Hilāl al-Rāsibī narrated to us, saying: Jabala ibn Atiyya narrated to us, from Maslama ibn Mukhallad, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say: “O Allah, teach Muawiya writing, establish him throughout the lands, and protect him from the punishment.”
