1917 — Abū al-Qāsim Abd Allah ibn Muhammad al-Baghawī narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Ishāq narrated to us, saying: Yahyā ibn Maīn informed me, saying: Abū Mushir narrated to us, saying: Saīd ibn Abd al-Azīz informed me, from Rabīa ibn Yazīd, from Abd al-Rahmān ibn Abī Umayra—who was one of the Companions of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace—who said: I heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, supplicate for Muawiya—may Allah be pleased with him—saying: “O Allah, guide him and make him one who guides and is rightly guided.” Abū Bakr Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Hamīd al-Wāsitī also narrated to us, saying: al-Abbās ibn Abd Allah al-Tarqufī narrated to us, saying: Abū Mushir narrated to us and related the same as the two preceding hadiths.
