1896 – Ibn Abd al-Hamīd also narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn al-Muthannā narrated to us, saying: Abū Muʿāwiya narrated to us, saying: Al-Aʿmash narrated to us, from Muslim, from Masrūq, that he was asked, “Did Aisha—may Allah be pleased with her—have a good command of the laws of inheritance?” He replied, “Yes, by Him in whose hand is my soul! I saw the senior elders among the Companions of Muhammad—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—asking her about the laws of inheritance.”
