1895 – Abū Shuʿayb ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Hasan al-Harrānī narrated to us, saying: My grandfather narrated to me, saying: Mūsā ibn Aʿyan narrated to us, from al-Aʿmash, from Muslim, from Masrūq, who said: We asked him, “Did Aisha—may Allah have mercy on her—have a good command of the laws of inheritance?” He replied, “By Allah, I saw the senior Companions of Muhammad—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—asking her about the laws of inheritance.”
