1894 – Abū Bakr ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Hamīd al-Wāsitī narrated to us; he said: Abū Mūsā Muhammad ibn al-Muthannā narrated to us; he said: Yazīd ibn Hārūn narrated to us; he said: Zakariyyā ibn Abī Zā’idah informed us, from al-Sha‘bī, from Abū Salamah, from Aisha—may Allah be pleased with her—who said: The Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—said, “Gabriel—peace be upon him—sends you greetings of peace.” I replied, “And upon him be peace and the mercy of Allah.”
