1890 — Abū Muhammad Abd Allah ibn Sālih al-Bukhārī informed us: al-Hasan ibn Alī al-Hulwānī narrated to us: Zayd ibn al-Hubāb narrated to us: Yahyā ibn Abd Allah ibn Abī Qatāda narrated to me, from Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahmān ibn Khallād al-Ansārī, from Umm Mubashshir ⦗2407⦘—who was one of his maternal aunts—who said: “The Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—entered upon Aisha—may Allah be pleased with her—while I was with her. He placed his hand on her knees and whispered something privately to her, excluding me. She pushed him in the chest, so I said, ‘What is the matter with you, you so-and-so, that you would do this to the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace?’ The Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—laughed and said, ‘Leave her be, for women do this and even worse than this.’”
