192 — Abū Bakr ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Hamīd al-Wāsitī narrated to us: Abū al-Hasan Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Abī Bazza narrated to us: I heard al-Muʾammal ibn Ismāʿīl say, “The Quran is the speech of Allah and is not created.” Ibn Abī Bazza said, “Whoever says that the Quran is created, suspends judgment, says, ‘My utterance of the Quran is created,’ or says anything of this sort follows a religion other than that of Allah Most High and His Messenger until he repents.”
١٩٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَزَّةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْمُؤَمَّلَ بْنَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ يَقُولُ: الْقُرْآنُ كَلَامُ اللَّهِ، وَلَيْسَ بِمَخْلُوقٍ قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي بَزَّةَ: مَنْ قَالَ: الْقُرْآنُ مَخْلُوقٌ، أَوْ وَقَفَ، وَمَنْ قَالَ: لَفْظِي بِالْقُرْآنِ مَخْلُوقٌ، أَوْ شَيْءٌ مِنْ هَذَا، فَهُوَ عَلَى غَيْرِ دِينِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى، وَدِينِ رَسُولِهِ حَتَّى يَتُوبَ
