1857 — Abū Bakr Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Hamīd al-Wāsitī ⦗2379⦘ also narrated to us. He said: Fadl ibn Sahl al-Araj narrated to us. He said: Abū al-Nadr Hāshim ibn al-Qāsim narrated to us. He said: Muhammad ibn Talha narrated to us, from Khalaf ibn Hawshab, from Sālim ibn Abī Hafsa, who said: I visited Jafar ibn Muhammad—may Allah be pleased with them both—while he was ill, and I believe that, on my account, he said: “O Allah, I love Abū Bakr and Umar and remain loyal to them both. O Allah, if I harbor anything contrary to this, then do not grant me the intercession of Muhammad—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—on the Day of Resurrection.”
