1785 — Qāsim al-Mutarriz also narrated to us, saying: ʿAmr ibn ʿAlī narrated to us, saying: Abū Dāwūd narrated to me, saying: al-Masʿūdī narrated to us, from Nufayl ibn Hishām ibn Saʿīd ibn Zayd, from his father, from his grandfather, who said:

“O Messenger of Allah, my father was as you yourself saw and as you have heard, so ask forgiveness for him.” He replied, “Yes, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection as a nation unto himself.”
