1784 — Qāsim al-Mutarriz also narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Ismāʿīl al-Bukhārī narrated to us, saying: Ismāʿīl ibn Abī Uways narrated to us, saying: Ibn Abī al-Zinād narrated to me, from Hishām ibn ʿUrwa, from ʿUrwa, that Saʿīd ibn Zayd ibn ʿAmr ibn Nufayl said:

ʿUmar ibn al-Khattāb—may Allah be pleased with him—and I asked—that is, we asked the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace—about Zayd ibn ʿAmr ibn Nufayl. He replied, “He will come on the Day of Resurrection as a nation unto himself.”
