1775 — And Abū Jafar Muhammad ibn al-Husayn al-Kūfī narrated to us, saying: Abū Kurayb Muhammad ibn al-Alā narrated to us, saying: Abū Usāma narrated to us, saying: Hishām ibn Urwa and Sufyān al-Thawrī narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, from Jābir ibn Abd Allāh, who said: The Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said: “Every prophet has a devoted disciple, and my devoted disciple is al-Zubayr.”
